I just lost my dog this morning His name is Chill , he was just neutered last thursday , he is a black / brown brindle bull mastiff 3 yrs old 80 lbs  very very friendly, i believe someone either rescued or took him as he will not leave the yard, I live off real road and stockdale my cell is 472-2650 please help he has been in the family his whole life and is greatly missed and loved.

Most of the adoption centers have pictures of the pets they have to find homes for.  Even the Kern County Shelter. It would be productive to have pictures of these pets so people can see what is on location.  There could be a note that a certain animal was adopted or new ones could be available.  I hope this info. is considered and probably there is a reason why no pictures are shown, but I have looked for certain animals many times  and the Adoption Gallery is empty.  Probably volunteers are needed to do this.  OK, me and others need to volunteer for this job and others.  If we love animals, we need to help!

Found Young Black Lab Male. Nice dog. Hageman and Coffee Area

My daughters dog was returned to the Bakersfield Spca on accaden.  They are telling he has been adopted, and we are trying to find the family that adopted him.  He spainel/chihuahua, he is 4 months old, he is black with a white on his chest, under his chin, and both back toes have white on them. His name in Ty and he was adopted on 8/12/2010.
