What could be better than for your animal loving child to spend a week making new friends here at the SPCA?
Kids & Critters Day Camp provides Kern County youth with a special educational opportunity to learn responsible pet ownership, promote the human-animal bond, and social responsibility.
Join our weekly summer camp(s) here at the animal shelter, designed for kids aged 8-12 years old.
Fun Activity Programs!
🐾 Caring for shelter animals
🐾 Developing dog and cat babysitting skills
🐾 Basic obedience training
🐾 First aid and animal safety course
And of course, there will be plenty of animal-themed games, crafts, and activities to keep you entertained. Foster a furry friend and make memories that will last a lifetime.
